Children's Shoes
Does anyone remember a painting of a boy putiing some ballet shoes on a bench with a baseball cap behind him?
I remember the painting. Might be oil, I think from an American Artist, but cant seem to find it on Google or Flickr. And without a name its virtually impossible. It is not a Dega. The great thing about this pictorial representation was the contrast of the boy leaving behind his "sports" gear to put on some ballet shoes. So im sure it was a boy, not a ballerina. Thats the whole point.

- I think you might be a little bit confused with memory. I suggest it is Degas and his ballet dancers study, with pastel or oil. But I might be wrong too :-) http://culturexy.blogspot.com
