5. Christmas Shoes. The Christian Group New Song wrote the song based on the internet letter that gets forwarded all the time. I think I have heard the country group Alabama sing it also. There is a movie based on the story too. It stars Rob Lowe and Kimberly Williams Paisley. It is a very good movie. The Lifetime channel will be showing it on Christmas night at 9pm.
6. i JUST watched a movie based on this song the other night and i was crying like a baby at then end :(.. it had Rob Lowe in it and the girl who played the daughter on father of the bride... very well done movie - just relating to people who are too busy for life and how there are just some people in the world who DO have things going on that are more important than making money and what not... here is the website - maybe they will play it again before the season is over... it was really one of those family kinda movies - the kind you just wanna see til the end... not a blockbuster but a great movie with a great reason for being made... http://www.cbs.com/specials/christmas_shoes/ they have a link to the song too...
