Toddler dress shoes for wedding (flower girl)? Well my daughter (who will be 2 the day after the wedding), is going to be the flower girl for my friend's wedding (I'm the maid of honor =D) anyway, we bought her shoes & they are so adorable (mini versions of mine). They are the clear plastic kind with silver leafy designs on it w/rhinestones. Well the left one fits her perfectly, but the right one I couldn't get past getting her toes in them... I was like "I know this foot cant be fatter than the other one" so I got to looking at the shoes & the toe of that one is way small... like a manufactures defect... Ok heres my question: My mom said that it will stretch out by then if I work with it alot between now and then, like you know kinda gently pull on it or whatever... Do you think that it will stretch out?? Oh and the dress store where we bought if from doesn't do refunds, or exchanges... so that will really suck if they dont stretch... =(

Where can I find navy blue toddler girl's size shoes? My friend has a 2 yr old that needs navy blue shoes to go with a very cute little sailor style dress. Please help if you know where these are sold.
Why is it that stores will have dress clothes for all ages but toddlers boys? I have a three-year-old boys, and I hit every store in town trying to find dress clothes for church. Every store I hit had dress clothes and shoes for infant girls and boys, toddler girls, older boys and girls, and adults of both genders. Eventually, I found one dress outfit, but then I wasn't able to find dress shoes. What gives? Do they think toddler boys don't need clothes? It's highly likely they need them more than any other age group. Anyone else noticed this?
Moms, what are your favorite colors/styles in a dress for your little girl? I'm asking this question again so I can get the widest range of answers possible. If you already answered it this morning, I'm taking your's into consideration. Just would like to hear from more! I sew and sell clothing on Ebay and I would like to create custom-fit quality dresses like this one that I made my daughter: http://www.flickr.com/photos/baviqua/219... http://www.flickr.com/photos/baviqua/219... http://flickr.com/photos/baviqua/2200245216/ The buyer would be able to give measurements, along with picking a fabric with a sash. I'm trying to get an idea of what sorts of fabric styles people out there prefer for a toddler girl. Is it cutsy girly? Contrasting? Bright primary colors? Certain types of patterns? Or something else? I also like to make my daughter's dresses very long, like an inch or so above her shoes. But what length does everyone else like? http://www.flickr.com/photos/baviqua/2197453727/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/baviqua/2198241808/ I don't think the first two links were working. Hope this does.
Infant/toddler shoes that squeak? Last year on Halloween there was a baby girl around 1-2 that was walking around dressed as a lady bug. Every step she took she squeaked. Where can I find shoes like that? I get to take my twin nieces out this year and I think it will be cute to walk around with squeaking thing 1 and thing 2.
do you think this is unfair? ok i have a little boy and i can barly find any clothing that does not look "thug" or something along those lines unless i want to pay 50 dollars a shirt for a toddler. yet i see all these very nice little girl dresses and shoes. Does anyone else feel as if this is unfair to the mothers of little boys? (i like my little boy looking clean cut) walmart is the main place i have seen this problem
my good friend wanted a daughter badly but had boy? my friend is a single mom and I remember when he was a baby and toddler, she dressed him in girls clothes, he was just a baby so who cares right i assumed she quit doing it. But the the day before yesterday i got the biggest shock of my life. about a year ago she moved out of town. i viseted her once in awhile but always talked to her on the phone. She said that dany, her son, was attending a .private school. i thaught cool. so i went to visit her and was sitting in her living room in the afternoon when dany walks in the front door and oh... my... god. to my horror dany, who always had long hair, had a ponytail up high on his haid, was carring a purple backpack and a blazer and, you ready for this, he was weraing a white blosue with a skirt and knee socks with girls shoes wtf? she said something about sex identity but i was to shocked to even listen. is this school totaly stupid or something, do they even know, help do other moms do this? i feel so sorry for him, it made me cry for so long . dany is 8 so im pretty sure he knows the sexes. His mother said that they already have a phsycologist. i now know what intergender kids are but i know for a fact that this would not have been dany's choice had it not been for his mother. oh well, my hands are tied, he makes a very pretty girl though so, i can just stand back and watch what happens. i guess it's true what they say, life is so unfair, poor kid.
What would be considered "semi-formal wear" for a three year old little girl? I am considering entering my daughter in a baby/toddler show in my area (Columbus, GA) and the entry form states dress is to be semi-formal... Does anyone have any ideas about what I should dress her in? I was thinking of a Spring dress with maybe a matching hat and/or bag, cute shoes. She is of Australian/African American/Native American heritage with super curly hair so I was going to to her hair with the small white flowers and just leave it out and curly (with products of course)... Any ideas on what to wear or how to "wow" the judges would be great... Thanks... ps....no comments about "expoliting my child, she did commercials back in Australia and loves all the attention, plus its a chance for her and me to meet some new people...
Free toddler clothing(not for me)? My sister watches twin 2 1/2 year old girls, they come in so dirty with clothes that dont fit. They are wearing 6 to 9 month dresses for shirts, all of their pants are too short sometimes they dont even wear shoes(the only "shoes" they have worn over are slippers that are about 4 sizes too big). My sister feels so bad she has already bought them a few outfits to wear when they are there so she can wash the clothes they came in. She already cut her rate almost in half, so she can't keep buying them things. Does anyone know charities that give free clothing, used or not,I was thinking I could pass them off to the Mom as something a friend offered me? Yesterday one of the girls had on a full on "Santa" dress 6-9 mth as a shirt, red velvet, fur around neck, sleves and, bottom. We live in florida. Any ideas would be helpful. These are beautiful little girls and they deserve more. I have not seen the mom, but my sister says she is not any better. I belive that the uncle actually pays my sister, he is the one that contacted her. The only thing I worry about with craigslist is that's where the uncle found my sister's daycare and I just worry that they may stumble across it and realize it is about them and be offended. Their mother is 20 single, and has a job, I don't think she just dosen't care I think she is just overwhelemed and dosen't know what to do. I am 28 married with 1 child, I can't even imagine what she is going through. !@#$%^&*()
Any idea what to do about this? I got myself a short bob cut with blunt line bangs for my old boyfriend from 2 and a half years ago and it will never grow back due to permanent hair loss according to my doctor. Any way despite how devastated I am about the hairstyle that I will be stuck with for the rest of my life I am constantly being mistaken for an 11 year old girl and I'm 21. One day I went to a conference at my university and I wore a thigh length dress, some toe shoes and a pretty red bow on my hair. And elderly man came to me with a Disney princess coloring book with crayons and asked me if I was with my mom. Its bad enough that I'm only 5 feet tall. Now I have to deal with this toddler haircut! I don't know what to do. I just don't like the fact of having to put on a wig for the rest of my life. Back when I was dating him he always told me I would look pretty with short hair so I got it cut. I realize now that it was a total mistake. Now I'll never have it long again.
Would you have spoken out to this woman? Last night I was at Walmart with my husband and children and it must have only been around 70 degree. So there is this woman with her 2 children and they would have both been toddler preschool age and they were so badly dressed for the weather! The little boy was in shorts and no sleeve shirt with broken crocs and little girl was wearing a sundress bearfeet! The little girl was shivereing and her mouth around it was blue and the little boy was crying saying he was cold and needed the bathroom I felt so sorry for them and I say to their mom that maybe the kids should be wearing sweaters and shoes. She told me it was none of my business which I know it really wasn't but I felt so sorry for these children! Would you say anything to that mom? Sorry for the errors it was well under 70 degree I don't know how cold but was raining and also the mom and dad dressed up warmly so it seemed bad to me.
