What are the best baby shoes for my girl to learn to walk in? My daughter is 10 months and is starting to walk. I am wondering what kinda of shoes that would be good for her to learn to walk with approprite traction and being able to feel the ground through the shoes and all that jazz. What kinds did you try? i have looked at striderite, robeeze and those kinds of shoes. what else is good? at home she wears her bare feet but for going out we need something that is durable enough to walk on hard ground, but nice enough for her to like shoes.

Why do they put skulls and bones on little girls shoes......? I went shopping with my baby girls for shoes... So many at least six pairs of tennies for little girls had skulls and bones on them, why do they do this? And B, would you want your child wearing these? I am thankful my girls do not like them period! Just curious as to what other parents opinions on this are? I am sorry but when I see them, I see a symbol meaning of something dead... How would you re-orientate your life if you found out you were carrying a boy instead of the girl? Moms selling baby stuff on ebay? So, I'm looking to make about an extra $400 bucks a month, I'm a stay at home mom but we need extra income. I can't get a job outside my home, but I've heard that Ebay is a great way to make some money. I have a few questions though. First of all, how much can I really expect to make selling things? How to I get my boyfriends sister to not be such a baby? She's 8. The only reason I'm asking is because I live with them. Her mother babys her like I've never seen, and I kid you not, she just learned how to tie her own shoes this summer when he taught her because all she had to do was cry to get her way with her mother. She cried over dinner tonight because she said her chicken was dry and then got mad when no one would make her anything else she kicked her brother, so he picked back on her and she started screaming at the top of her lungs until she was red in the face. (she can dish it out but can't handle anything from any1 about anything) I'm not trying to take over her parenting or the childs disipline, but she doesn't have any sisters and I was just wondering if there's anything I could do to be a better example since im there now. (i'm an only child..) Her mother has done a fine job in raising 3 boys I'm just concerned that since she's adopted and the only girl she's turning into a baby that gets away with murder the other day she cried because she got a haircut and someone at school told her it was nice and they liked it better the old way. she came home sick and early from school (her mom went and got her) in tears and told us and told her teacher that people were "being mean to her" she takes everything to heart and so seriously and cries over everything. Is this normal? I don't really remember being so emotional. She was adopted when she was a month old and I know her adoption wasn't life changing or traumatic. I do know that she has no idea she was adopted.

did your feet swell during pregnancy and if so how big? I normally wear a size 6 in womens shoes. I am 21weeks pregnant with a baby girl and wearing a size 7 shoe and they are feeling pretty tight on my feet. i have gained about 15 pounds, how big are feet gonna get? they did not swell but a 1/2 size last pregnancy. omg!! mine went back down after i had my son, i hope they don't stay this way this time ....hehe!

My MIL always buys fancy frilly clothes for my baby and she doesn't wear them...should I say something? My MIL and SIL love buying little outfits for my baby girl but they buy fancy frilly things like dresses with bonnets, impossible to put on shoes, and stiff items my baby can't move in. I don't dress my baby in them because she gets fussy when I "dress her up". I just want her to be comforatable so she wears cotton onesies, cotton pants, stretchsuits etc. Shoes just get kicked off or don't fit her little chubby feet to begin with. She hates hats/accessories etc. I know I am doing the right thing by dressing her for comfort and not treating her like a doll to play dress up with, but I feel awful that people buy her "pretty" things that just sit in the closet never to be worn, even once. One or two nice things for pictures is one thing, but an entire wardrobe of dresses is another. What have been your results with the Roomba Floor Vacuum Robot? We have just purchased a new house and have all hardwood floors in the living areas, with pergo in the kitchen and ceramic tile in the foyer and bathrooms. We previously had carpet nearly everywhere and just used our Dirt Devil Vacuum. Now I am having a hard time keeping these floors dust-free, eventhough we take our shoes off once inside. I sweep all the floors every other day and mop the floors every 3-4 days. I have a full time job and two children. I can't keep this up. I need the floors to be clean specifically for my crawling baby girl. Otherwise I could deal with a little dust every now and again. Any luck using the Roomba System or should I just hire a maid? Are you satisfied with the results?

I know in the US they are wearing 3-6 months socks and size 0.5 and the other is wearing 9-12 months socks and size 1 (big boy and petite girl) but cannot find any site or person who can convert this to UK sizes for me or anybody who can tell me vice-versa what their sizes would be in US. Never paid close attention to the Pooh cartoons when I was a kid, but know that I look at them as an adult, (hubby got our baby girl a Pooh DVD, the one called The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - The friendship Edition) Pooh and especially Christopher Robin seem gay or act gayish / sissyish? Anyone ever noticed / thought that too? Plus why does Christopher Robin wear girls' shoes? If they're not supposed to be girls' shoes, they sure look like them. They look like Mary Janes lol.

I have 2 boys and 1 girl, i want another girl!? I have 2 boys and 1 girl. My 1st boy is 4, my daughter is 3 now, and my youngest little boy is now 2. Im thinking of pre-conception so i can start trying for another little baby girl (a little sister for my daughter!) it would be nice to see her enjoying the similar company of the same gender, and also for me. She will be around age 4-4 1/2 by the estimate time baby born.! Although me and my daughter have an extra special bond and spend girly times, (playing with hair,makeup, dolls, stories,wearing mummys shoes,ect) as she only has me as a gender role model, but i was thinking of how it would be with 2 girls. Sometimes, i watch her and she's in her own little world and she has her Boy Brothers running round her? Please, what should i do, am i thinking right, is this too much?

What are the cutest things your baby does? Some of the things our 12 mth baby girl does either make our jaws drop or have us in stitches. She sweeps up, loads the washing machine ( with the clean dry washing i've just ironed) shuts the washers door & turns the dial then stands them humphing with hands on hips before taking the clothes out, throwing them on the floor & putting more clean clothes in.She recently put my boots on her feet & tries to put her shoes on my feet, she checks her hair in the mirror & even strips off for the bath before i've started running it lol. She is mad as a box of frogs & we love her to bits, sorry i spend so much time fretting about her i thought i'd share how much she brightens up our lives too. Now tell me how your lil one makes your day a happy one... Thats good pris, our lil girl didn't laugh until 5 mths, its silly to think we were worried she was slow in developing. Meliss- thats so cute, jasmin tries to brush my hair too with the back of the brush mostly lol. Although i don't want her to be a baby forever, the more she grows the more wonderful she seems, but may change my mind when she's a moody teen lol Princess- the crawling is v cute, i remember putting jasmin on all fours & she'd rock back & forth trying to move & eventually collapsing in a heap, she go there in the end lol & when they show all their teeth when they smile all goofy melts your heart.

When I was 16 I got this girl pregnant and it totally sucked and I got pissed and threw a rock at a tree...? And the rock bounced back and hit my shoe. I really wish I still had those shoes intead of this baby. Any thoughts? They were white Adidas low-tops.

Well recently they've been bringing this girl with them, while im at work. I'v met her twice my self the first time was the first time my bf met her aswell. Well she had been to my house 4-5 times since. While i was at work. Then the other night she was here with them again... and it seemed as though my bf was acting even a lil different, like showing off.. trying to say funny stuff etc. and my bf's 30 shes 22 and im 24yrs. Im not a jelous person but something seems to be weird and so i talked to my bf about her being here, and if he would like it if it were him in my shoes, and he replied no etc. So one night his brother calls me and asks for my bf he said he had been calling his cell all day and no answer. My 17-month-old has gotten splinters in her feet...? My baby girl took off her shoes and ran away down the garden, (little minx),she started 'niggling' at her feet so I took a look at them and found about 6 tiny splinters in the soles of her feet. I tried to get them out, but she went absolutely APESH*T and won't let me near them now, all I could do was rub some antiseptic on them. I'm worried they'll get infected now, she's gone to bed and is oblivious to them. Will they 'work themselves out' even if they infect, or shall I try getting them out, even if she goes nuts? Good girl vs. innocent: is there a difference? I'm a good girl..i just am...i'm not a goody two shoes, perfect...i'm just good...and i'm completely FINE with it! but the thing that makes me soo mad, is when think that i'm "innocent" because i really don't think i am. To me, "innocent" means nieve, like you haven't really experienced life and also a girl who's a "baby" - she still loves little girl things and i'm not like that. Yes, i'm girlie but not immature. I've been through more things people don't even know about so when guys will call me "innocent", it's offensive. I'm 22 but I still love my patent mary jane shoes. Do any other girls feel similarly? I petite with little feet and still take a chidrens shoe size. I don't have a problem with this and still love the same sassy cloths and shoes as I did when I was young. Though I find myself dressing to try and look my age though I really love baby doll dresses and patent mary janes and have started wearing them to parties. Some people tell me I'm immature and others tell me I'm really cute. I like being cute and I think it suits me. What do people think about that? And do any other girls feel the same?

So how much is too much for my 11 month olds shoes? I bought tons of shoes for him while I was pregnant in sizes 0-6 months.I rarely put them on him because it seemed that he was uncomfortable and he wore sleepers most of the time since it was winter months.Now that he is 11 months I am having a hard time getting him to wear shoes.I went to a large name brand baby store a few weeks ago and had him fitted.The girl put him in a 2.5 Nike(my son weighs 25 pounds and is 32 inches tall, he is a big man)I thought she knew what she was doing, and they looked fine so I bought them and everytime I put them on him he screams!So again we aren't wearing shoes.Today when I picked him up from daycare they informed me that he needed to start wearing shoes to protect his feet, I agreed (I love his daycare)I went to Stride Rite, he was measured in a 5.5 Extra Wide.I was aggravated. She put the only shoe that came in that size:)on him and he was fine!!But they cost 55.00 and she said he would get about 2-3 months out of them.Doesn't that seem expensive?

tights for baby boys ??? Is it acceptable to put tights on my ten month old ? He constantly pulls his shoes and socks off as I imagine most babies do. I mentioned it to one girl in shop the other day and she said she did it, seems like a good idea. (Not pink ones of course, they have cream, navy and brown etc).
